FOR YOUR SAKE, PALESTINE""


Once upon a time, an old fisherman lived in a cottage with his family on the charming beach of Jaffa where he and his son Saber, used to go fishing. They enjoyed watching the silver waves of the sea and the golden sand surrounding his small cottage.
One day, this joy was attacked with the arrival of the occupation soldiers. The Israeli soldiers ordered them to leave their boat and go away while they were fishing for their food and living, Saber's father challenged them saying:" I won't do so, you get way off our land".
These words made the soldiers more violent. One of them was ready to shoot him, but another one stopped him and ordered the fisherman and his family to leave the boat and the cottage as well. The father tried to sail his boat away, then he heard sounds of shooting. The soldier shot the son in his heart.
The father went home with his hands and clothes full of blood of Saber.
As soon as his wife saw him, she ran out of the cottage crying:" Don't tell me that you have buried Saber in the same place of his birth".
Years past away, but saber's blood has never gone with the waves. It stayed to remind all the Palestinian that our land deserves to sacrifice ourselves for the sake of it.
